My family is gonna hate me when I have kids. I just know it. No you cannot drag my kids to church, no you will not have my daughter in fluffy pink dresses everyday and lecture her on what’s “ladylike” at 8 years old. Don’t tell my toddler son to “man up” he is a baby??You won’t ever fix your mouth to tell my son (at any age) that men don’t cry or show emotions either. No you will not be out here hitting my child as the only form of punishment No. no thanks. You can all catch these hands if you feel like your opinions dictate my beliefs and how I’ll raise my kids.
I probably won’t leave my kids alone with my family for a while unless it’s absolutely necessary.
"Everything he does seemed to be effortless, even now; watching him leap around a stage in front of thousands of people, he seems untroubled and free from self-doubt. It’s easy to be jealous - he’s one of those people who are just good at things, we all know one - but to assume this means he takes it all for granted, or doesn’t worry, or try, would be oversimplifying him unfairly. His bundles of talent are a mixture of natural ability and intense heart."
